Become an essential part of Extendicare’s healthcare team as a part time Registered Practical Nurse. Deliver patient-focused care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a senior's environment.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will report to the Director of Care or Director of Health and Wellness, leading clinical assessments and implementing care plans. With your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you will coordinate resident care and support patient education while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide planned, patient-oriented nursing care
• Complete clinical care assessments and documentation
• Implement and evaluate effectiveness of care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Respond to and manage significant changes in resident's conditions
