Experienced Procurement Specialist in Alberta

This role can be based at the Project Site or Home Office in Edmonton, Alberta, and involves shift work: 9 days on, 5 days off, with 10-hour days. The successful candidate will leverage at least 5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, strong Excel skills, and robust communication abilities to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review material requisitions submitted by project teams
• Prepare and issue RFQ/RFP documentation
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers thoroughly
• Recommend suppliers based on evaluation criteria
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite material orders
