Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Acute Care Cancer Center at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care. They impact quality of patient care, patient outcomes and use of resources in a designated area in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, an RN license and at least one year of recent RN experience in an ER hospital setting. The ideal candidate must be available to work the mid-shift, 11am - 11pm, Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays required.
The Acute Care Cancer Center is a place where patients choose to come when the severity of their disease requires emergency care. The ACCC partners and works closely with the multidisciplinary care centers in the evaluation and treatment of patients who entrust them with their care.
