Job Description

Summary You will serve as an Exhibit Specialist (Graphics) for the Naval History and Hertiage Command at the National Museum of the U.S. Navy. Responsibilities You will utilize Computer Aided Drafting and Design technology (such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) to expedite changes in exhibit design and concept planning in alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act and conservation guidelines. You will specify the size and style of type for banners, titles, captions, and artifact placement used in specialized history museum exhibits. You will design the layout of graphic elements of complex history museum exhibits. You will design the layout of brochures, pamphlets, and other printed materials related to exhibitions, museum educational programs, and in support of the museum's mission.
