About the job
Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Culinary Department, the Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for the entire pastry and bakery production of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, the proper efficiency and profitable functioning of the pastry department, ensuring that all functions are provided in the highest food quality, consistent with cost control and profitability margins. All work is carried out in line with the hotel’s guidelines, the departmental business plan and hotel corporate guidelines and service concepts. Enforces the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene. Supports the Executive Chef actively in creating modern and guest related banquet and a la carte menus. Further responsible for running the pastry department with creativity and innovative way by introducing new dishes and products on the market. The Executive Pastry Chef reports to the Executive Chef.
