Job Overview

GNF Commercial Management Limited is seeking Excavator Operators in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time, permanent on-site role supporting construction projects. Responsibilities include operating excavators for digging, trenching, grading, and material handling, performing inspections, maintaining safe job sites, and assisting with site operations. Candidates should have experience operating heavy equipment, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in outdoor construction environments. Experience operating excavators or similar heavy equipment. Experience on residential or commercial construction sites preferred. Safety certifications such as WHMIS, Fall Protection, or First Aid are assets. Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
