Estimator our Client may require the services of an Estimator to support the Transmission Program Management team.
A-1.4.1 Essential duties and responsibilities Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed cost estimates for transmission projects, including overhead and underground lines, substations, and asset replacement or upgrade programs Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, standards, and scopes of work to support estimate development Complete detailed quantity take-offs and determine labour, equipment, and material requirements Apply standardized estimating methodologies, unit rates, and historical cost data Page 10 Schedule “A” Identify estimating assumptions, cost drivers, risks, and uncertainties, including development of escalation and contingency allowances Collaborate with Engineering and Construction to assess constructability, seq...
