Position Purpose

Regulations and NOMs Specialist: assures NOMs compliance for product to be at store through PROFECO, DGN, COFEPRIS, and some other regulations that apply to our products at point of sales. Verifies products to Mexican NOM compliance standards and is responsible for creating solutions to meet or exceed those standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining databases for tracking performance and historical data; communicating with replenishment and merchandising Auto Zoners to remedy future vendor compliance.

Primary Accountabilities Mantain import Classification module in internal ERP system of new products, and manages and communicates to import users the impact of the changes in Mexican law in AZ products including but not limited to changes in NOMS duties, special duties, and other regulations.
