Job Description

onsemi is searching for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the Assembly and Test Operations. Responsible for the preventive maintenance activities including the ability to troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and maintain the operations of production tools. The Equipment Maintenance Technician ensures equipment and systems are running efficiently and at optimal capacity to meet manufacturing demands. This position will report to the Manager of Equipment Engineering

  • Responsible for Equipment Maintenance encompassing tools used in assembly of Electronic Modules such as Pick and Place tools, Furnaces, Ovens, Inspection stations, lithography tools, wet benches, Encapsulation, Saw and Final Test.
  • Responsible for maintaining high equipment uptime.
  • Plan and perform Preventative Maintenance and calibration activities on time.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring/unscheduled downtime.
