Environmental Services Technician Supervisor

Summary The Environmental Services Technician Supervisor is located in the Environmental Management Services service line of the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS). The primary purpose of the position is to serve as supervisor for one or more Environmental Health Teams comprised of Housekeeping Aids. Supervisor ensures that the facility will be maintained in a state of physical and biological cleanliness and appearance. Responsibilities Duties of the position include but are not limited to: Supervises and directs Housekeeping Aids in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the medical center, including inpatient wards, operating rooms, isolation rooms, and emergency areas. Implements and monitors infection control and environmental sanitation programs in compliance with VA and CDC standards.
