An extremely exciting opportunity as arisen for you to join Sheffield City Council Environmental Protection Service working in the Public Protection Team. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Officer to join a dynamic, forward thinking and established team to carry out a combination of investigative and advisory duties including enforcement.

The District Team are responsible for dealing with environmental protection and statutory nuisance issues at domestic premises which on occasions you will need to liaise with other departments within the Council including partner agencies. Aspects of our work include noise associated, bonfires and artificial light nuisance, high hedges complaints, filthy properties and hoarding complaints, accumulation of waste in gardens, drainage defect and investigations including rural septic tanks as well as complaints about smoke from wood or multifuel stoves and illegal...
