- The Service Manager – Environmental Operations is a pivotal role responsible for leading and delivering high-quality frontline environmental services across the borough. This position ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous service improvement while managing a large workforce. The role is crucial in maintaining high standards for residents, businesses, and stakeholders, providing strategic and operational leadership in a 24-hour service environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a large operational workforce (up to 150 staff) through Supervisors and Assistant Managers.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, service standards, and contractual requirements.
