ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST SUPERVISOR

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this full-time position will be to supervise and evaluate the work of lower-level environmental health specialists. This position will plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities in the Food Service Facility Compliance Program. This position will also conduct inspections and investigations in the area of community sanitation under the supervision of the Environmental Health Specialist Director. The selected applicant must be willing and able to travel to all Worcester County Health Department sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Determined by the Maryland Board of Environmental Health Specialists under the licensing requirements for Environmental Health Specialists.




Experience: Two years of experience performing inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with environmental health laws and regulations.
