Entry Level Substation Engineer/Drafter BIM

A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview): In the department of Engineering we are responsible for technical designing of high voltage projects. The entry level substation engineer/drafter is responsible for the projections of the different substation arrangements, layouts and drawings, and will develop primary engineering design.

Responsibility

• Develop/draft main one-line and station auxiliary one-line diagrams.
• Develop 3D models for substations and FACTS (STATCOMs and Synchon) projects using Revit.
• Develop model coordination and clash detection using Revit, Navisworks and/or BIM360/ACC.
• Develop equipment families to feed the 3D model in Revit and Autocad database.
• Develop/draft substation/switchyard general arrangement, layout and elevation drawings.
• Develop/draft grounding drawings.
