Job Description
ENGL 100-012 - Critical Reading and Writing I - F2F - Fall 2026
Course develops student proficiency in critical reading and writing through the study of a wide range of non‑literary and literary texts, as well as composition, with emphasis on connections between modes of reading and writing. The sessional lecturer will teach in person on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 am to 11:20 am in CL 345.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in‑person instruction for a 3‑credit hour course.
- Prepare and update syllabi, learning materials, and assignments.
- Assess student work, maintain grading records, and provide timely feedback.
- Conduct office hours and support student learning.
- Maintain the course website on the university’s Learning Management System and, when applicable, use web‑conferencing tools for remote content.
