Our client in the Insurance Industry is looking to hire an Engineering Underwriter.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities Profit and Growth Ensure that the Company is not over committed on individual risks Review monthly targets monthly Ensure that the Company reinsurance standards are always adhered to Report to the market facing underwriter on large variances and large claims Effective Management of Engineering Portfolio Timeously assist with the resolution of problems Review figures of various portfolios Collaboration with company commercial business streams Technical Support Assist with technical support and negotiations of small or uncomplicated accounts Analyse client information to determine marketing needs Provide input to Brokers regarding claims to ensure timeous resolution Ensure policies/renewals are issued timeously and correctly Credit Control Ensure that payments are received on time in terms of legislation and company policies Resolve high level problems regarding credi...
