Engineering Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated individual to join our team. As the Engineering Technologist reporting to the Development Engineering Supervisor, you are responsible for the design, tendering and project management of capital and operational infrastructure renewal/maintenance projects (watermain, sewer, bridges, roads, etc.). You will provide technical reviews and construction services support related to development applications/construction, as well as support the Operations department.

What You’ll Do

• Complete design and associated design drawings to facilitate the tendering and construction of infrastructure and operational projects.
• Prepare construction drawings, contract documents and specifications to carry out the design and project needs.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents for the annual fleet renewal.
