Job Description
Dunbar Brown Group is delighted to be partnering with a long term exclusive customer to find an Engineering Technician to join their growing Edinburgh team. This person will need to be able to attend the office full time in Edinburgh city centre.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building, testing and debugging mechanical, electrical and robotic prototypes in our R&D lab
- Diagnosing faults and leading root-cause analysis on test failures and quality issues
- Operating and maintaining lab equipment — oscilloscopes, soldering stations, 3D printers, hand tools and more
- Supporting the transition of R&D prototypes into scalable manufacturing processes
- Documenting test results, build procedures and technical assets clearly and accurately
- Assisting with sourcing and inventory management of R&D components and equipment
- Collaborating with our cross-functional engineering teams, in UK and US
