Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as an Engineering Technician (Civil) responsible for the technical inspection and instrumentation at four Tri-Lakes Project Dams. Responsibilities Responsible for installation, maintenance, operation, monitoring, and evaluation of all dam safety instrumentation and equipment. Observe, inspect, collect, and record data readings from instrumentation used in assuring the stability of four Tri-Lakes Project Dams. Review requests and plans of proposed construction that might affect the dams and appurtenant structures and recommend approval and/or changes to the proposed work.
