Engineering Manager

Purpose of Job

The scope of the role is to support the manufacturing operations in achieving business objectives and targets. The Engineering Manager is an integral part of the site Management Team and will manage the Engineering function with due respect for policies on EHS and Food Safety.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manage the Mechanical, Electrical and Toolroom resources to ensure that engineering work and PM&R required by the production departments are completed to a high standard of quality, workmanship and safety and that all costs are within budget (measurable in terms of production downtime).
• Direct responsibility for Engineering related contracts, Engineering Spend and Spares Inventory v A.O.P
• Deliver Annual Maintenance Costs v A.O.P Targets.
