Job Overview
We’re building an AI‑driven, omnichannel platform that lets Canadians buy insurance and wealth solutions online or virtually. The Engineering Manager leads a squad, delivering features at startup velocity while ensuring excellent code quality and a healthy, engaged team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead sprint execution, ownership and delivery commitments.
- Translate product requirements into clear, executable engineering work.
- Directly manage developers—hiring, performance, growth and career development.
- Enforce engineering standards and code quality within the squad.
- Maintain technical credibility—code when needed and lead technical discussions.
- Build and maintain a healthy squad culture aligned with Accelerator principles.
- Remove blockers and manage dependencies with other squads, enterprise teams and vendors.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day delivery with Product, Design and cross squads.
