Engineering Manager, Git & Core Infrastructure

GitLab is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Git team to guide senior and staff engineers in upstream Git and related infrastructure. You will nurture a culture of ownership, technical rigor, and clear accountability while balancing open source priorities with GitLab product needs.

You’ll mentor engineers, drive long-horizon architecture work, and coordinate across distributed teams to ensure scalable, reliable performance and meaningful community engagement.
