The ideal candidate would be responsible for: Safe operation of the processing and utilities plant as per the OHS Act 85 of 1993. Effective management of downtime within a processing environment through focused and results driven management strategies. Planning, costing and execution of capital projects. Compiling of annual maintenance budget. Overall cost control within maintenance environment. Managing of a large engineering/maintenance labour compliment. Daily interaction with a large number of suppliers in an endeavour to proactively source the most cost effective and quality intrinsic solutions, thereby maximizing plant output. Implementation and maintenance of various 20 Keys projects within the engineering/ Maintenance department. Enforcing and maintaining continued sustainability projects within the engineering department as per Group policy.
