Engineering Manager – Monzo

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid model: 3 days a week in the office. Base salary depends on experience + incentive awards tied to performance + benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing senior team of engineers, supporting, coaching, and developing them through their careers.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Research, and Data to build out product strategy, vision, and mission setting, and goal setting.
• Take accountability for delivery across your squad(s), collaborating with Technical Leads and Product Manager.
• Actively foster a high bar for engineering excellence within your teams.
• Collaborate with senior engineers in your area to drive technical initiatives that raise the bar for engineering practices.
