Engineering Manager, Authentication Services

The Authentication Services team focuses on enabling secure, reliable authentication experiences at 1Password by building and evolving the services, workflows, and infrastructure that power sign‑in and identity verification. We are dedicated to making authentication capabilities easy to adopt and operate across the company, supporting the full lifecycle—from designing and shipping new authentication features to operating them safely in production. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

• Several years of experience managing a team of engineers and owning and operating a service
• Deep experience with cloud native infrastructure and backend technologies. While you are not expected to write code, you do need to be able to help the team work through complex technical issues
