Job Description
Responsibilities
- Review factory schedules and Build Plan to ensure the demand and materials are driving correctly in the ERP system.
- Attend all critical Core Team Meetings prepared to discuss all materials and documentation issues.
- Control the purchase of unique and/or EC-controlled materials to support build plan of early prototypes, pilot runs and production ramp up until materials are stable in the design
- Process of the initial Bill of Material in the ERP system.
- Work with Design Team regarding timely BOM update, ECO implementation & communication to Planning & MSR before or during the build
- Raise SRF for outgoing factory / customer shipments coming from Eastwood Engineering
- Respond weekly to Factory Commodity team with regards to go/no go of build of EC-controlled Commodity assembly to prevent scrappage
