Engineering Assistant I - Traffic Engineering (Regina)

Position Summary

These are full time temporary opportunities (up to 4 months) starting from Mid July 2026. The City of Regina is recruiting up to 2 Civil and/or Environmental Engineering employment opportunities in the Traffic Engineering Branch. Reporting to a Project Engineer, this position performs technical support work in the field of asset management of roadway infrastructure. The term of the assignment will be up to 7 months throughout the summer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Measuring, interpreting and recording roadway and concrete condition data.
• Gathering roadway inventory data.
• Co-ordinating with colleagues to effectively and efficiently complete programs.
• Reviewing and assessing data for accuracy and completeness.
• Performing calculations and queries in spreadsheets and databases.
