Engineer - Software Applications (Santiago)

Grid Automation Americas is searching for a Senior Bid Engineer to support proposals activity for Grid Automation Solutions, working closely with Business Development, Sales, Engineering, and Procurement teams during the acquisition phase of assigned projects.
Responsibilities Develop proposals for EPCs and end customers within the domain of control and protection systems for HV/MV substations, conducting thorough analysis and review of customer drawings, specifications, software, and hardware for substation protection, SCADA, and automation systems.
Ensure high‐quality and timely preparation of proposals in alignment with customer requirements, maintaining close coordination with technical experts.
Independently develop proposals, including selection of IEDs, BOMs, and control system hardware.
Create, edit, and compose original proposal responses and other sales‐related documents.
