Engineer – Instrumentation and Measurement Technology
We are looking for a practical and curious engineer with a background in measurement technology, physics or chemistry, preferably with experience from instrumentation, fieldwork or quality control of measurement data.
About the position
NILU’s Department of Measurement and Instrumentation Technology (MIT) provides quality‑assured data that determine the status of local air quality, long‑range pollution, and greenhouse gas and particle levels in the atmosphere. The temporary position focuses on operating and maintaining instruments and field stations for Norwegian air‑quality and climate measurement programmes. Travel to measurement stations within Norway is expected; an own car or use of NILU electric cars is possible.
