Job Description
This position is a Junior Engineer in Microchip’s Data Center Solutions Business Unit (DCS) functional validation group, focusing on PCI Express (PCIe) and Non‑Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) products. The role involves board development, silicon and system validation of Microchip’s NVMe Flash controller and PCIe switch products, ensuring functional specifications, system interoperability, performance measurement, and post‑silicon debugging.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, code, and execute silicon and system validation plans.
- Perform system‑level debug of silicon hardware and software issues.
- Build and support validation infrastructure through embedded software, device drivers, and test tools.
- Develop scripts such as Python and Tcl/Tk and troubleshoot complex problems in embedded multi‑core SOCs.
- Write RTL code for CPLDs/FPGAs.
