Engineer - Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is a highly visible, customer-facing role critical to the delivery of logistics applications. FSEs apply broad technical knowledge and industry best practices to install, commission, test, and hand over Cognex systems and solutions to system integrators and end-user customers. Working independently on standard assignments and escalating complex issues as needed, FSEs perform customer acceptance testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system optimizations to achieve predefined operational acceptance criteria. Typical applications include parcel and pallet conveyor systems, sorters, in-motion scales, dimensioning systems, label printer/applicators, scanners, sensors, and PLC-controlled solutions.
