Role Overview

Seeking an analytical professional with strong expertise in energy market modelling , optimization, and quantitative analysis. The role focuses on building, validating, and improving models that evaluate commercial value in evolving European electricity markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain energy system and market models covering renewables, storage, demand, grid constraints, and market dynamics.
• Build and enhance European energy market models using industry tools (PLEXOS, PyPSA).
• Perform back‑casting to assess model accuracy and reliability.
• Benchmark modelling tools, methodologies, and assumptions.
• Validate and stress‑test model outputs for technical and commercial robustness.
