As an Energy Analyst , you’ll join the Market Strategy & Portfolio team and help shape commercial decisions that keep Contact’s wholesale energy portfolio running at its best. Part of a collaborative, highly connected team working alongside real‑time trading, fuels, portfolio management, and generation specialists to optimise how energy flows across Aotearoa, this is complex, fast‑moving work – but that’s what makes it exciting.
Reporting to the Market Strategy & Portfolio Manager – and ideally based in Wellington – you’ll work across short‑ and mid‑term portfolio strategy, real‑time trading support, and fuel management activities. You’ll analyse market conditions, assess risks and opportunities, and help translate complex information into practical decisions that drive value.
