Our orthopedic surgery group is searching for a qualified Surgical Assistant. Candidates must have a CPSBC licence and full membership with the CMPA. Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) is a must, along with a preference for those with surgical experience. Engage in both scheduled and emergency surgical assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide surgical assistance to orthopedic procedures
• Choose full-time or part-time work, Monday to Friday
• Participate in on-call for evening and weekend emergencies
Requirements:
• Current CPSBC licence is a requirement
• Full CMPA membership is necessary
• FRCSC fellowship is mandatory
• Previous surgical experience is beneficial
