Job Description
- Install elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, moving walks, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled maintenance plans.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic faults.
- Repair or replace defective components such as motors, controllers, brakes, doors, cables, bearings, sensors, and switches.
- Conduct safety inspections and functional testing after repairs or installations.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls, equipment breakdowns, and passenger entrapments.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and blueprints.
- Adjust and calibrate control systems for optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
