Contract Opportunity working with a medical electronics manufacturer in Kent supporting Electronics Test. You will be working in a small company environment reporting to the Technical Director and working on a variety of Electronic test equipment including:
- Test and diagnose high speed video electronic systems, sub-assemblies and circuit boards. Where appropriate you would need to either
- Design and implement test jigs and other circuitry to enable testing of assemblies when they arrive from the manufacturer. This is likely to involve a mixture of mechanical design, electronic design and software/firmware in C or Python.
- Create test specifications, operator instructions and reports.
- Identify corrective actions and liaise with the contract manufacturers to improve the incoming defect rate.
