Summary:
The Electroneurodiagnostic Tech operates neurology equipment under the supervision of a neurologist and obtains data for use by the physician diagnosing/treating neurological disorders.
Responsibilities:
Performs NCV/EMG studies, assist physician with EMG, prepare for physician interpretation. Initiates patient education; provides patient designated others with a complete explanation of procedure(s), test(s), and/or treatments in order to promote compliance and cooperation. Informs physician of potential abnormalities noticed while performing study.
Verifies patient identity. Enters appropriate patient information as needed. Obtains and/or verifies consent for procedure if applicable. Ensures that documentation in patient chart is made in...
