Electrician (Utilities)

Our client in Utilities is looking to hire an Electrician.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Effective maintenance of plant and equipment.

· Minimise engineering related callouts in areas of responsibility.

· Ensure that specified approved stock levels are kept so minimizing down time.

· Assist in contingency planning and organising planned outages.

· Ensure all tools and equipment are always maintained in good working condition.

· Ensure safety and housekeeping meets the standards as set out in terms of the OHS Act and as per client requirements

Academic Qualifications

· Trade Certificate (Red Seal) – Electrician

Experience

· Preferably 3-5 year’s post trade test related work experience, specifically including Control and MV switching, lockouts and isolations, electrical design and installations, inspections, fault find, repair and maintenance, preferably within water treatment...
