Summary Electrician is familiar with how activities impact VA's goal to implement sound stewardship practices that are protective of the air, waters land, and other natural and cultural resources. This may include activities associated with proper storage, handling, disposal, and recycling of chemicals and wastes associated with their trades. DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY: This position is being filled using Direct-Hire Authority (5 CFR 337.201) for this occupation. Responsibilities Major duties included but not limited to: Incumbent's work regularly involves installing, modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, loading and testing new and existing electrical lines, circuits, and complete systems, as well as parts of these systems, fixtures, controls and equipment. This includes 12,470 volt underground primary electrical distribution system, as well as secondary distribution lines and circuits used to supply a wide range of voltage, amperage, phase and frequency requirements, distribution panels,...
