Electrician

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician (electromechanic) plays a key role in ensuring the proper functioning of our production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, examine, replace, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electric wiring, fixture, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, control devices and other electrical components.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical equipment.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Maintain, repair, install and test switch gear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, etc.
• Repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
