Job Description
As an Electrical Technician at Kona Ice Corporate, you will significantly contribute to the retrofitting process of Kona Ice KEVs (Kona Entertainment Vehicles). The Upfit Department manages the refurbishment of over 1,700 KEVs across 49 states and 3 countries. Seven years after a KEV is purchased, it returns to our headquarters for retrofitting, ensuring it looks and functions like a new vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Remove and install our proprietary 12V lithium iron phosphate electrical system.
- Install 46” monitors.
- Install exterior light packages.
- Install interior switches and inline fuses.
- Wire 12V AC units.
- Install radios and amplifiers.
- Wire speakers.
- Install exterior awnings.
- Perform general trim finishing.
- Install wire tracks.
- Remove and install alternators.
- Re-screen various windows.
- Clean and organize the workspace daily.
