The ideal candidate will prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, interpret electrical drawings, and collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects. This role plays a critical part in preconstruction efforts, helping to define project scope, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure accurate budgeting for complex electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive electrical estimates for commercial and industrial projects, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and control systems.
Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to accurately determine materials, labor, and project requirements.
Perform takeoffs using digital and manual methods to quantify electrical work.
