Electrical Engineer Mining Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Mining Infrastructure Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning, and optimisation of electrical infrastructure supporting surface and underground mining operations. This role offers the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects covering power generation, substations, reticulation, process plants, pumping systems, ventilation, hoisting, and mine services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical infrastructure for mining operations.
• Prepare electrical calculations, single-line diagrams, protection studies, cable schedules, and equipment specifications.
• Design and review substations, switchgear, transformers, motor control centres (MCCs), variable speed drives (VSDs), and power distribution systems.
