Electrical Engineer - Buildings

Electrical Engineer – Buildings We are looking for an intermediate Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design for buildings, including building power, lighting, fire protection, network cabling, security and communications systems. This role will focus on independent design of small and medium projects and portions of larger complex projects, preparation of electrical specifications, and coordination with utilities and municipalities.

Responsibilities

Independent design of small and medium projects and portions of larger complex projects; preparation of electrical specifications.

Attendance to client, consultant, and contractor meetings.

Obtaining information from equipment suppliers and incorporating it into designs and specifications; preparation of engineering calculations.

Co-ordinating with utilities and municipalities regarding incoming services.
