Electrical Design Engineer

Overview

We are currently looking for an interim Electrical Design Engineer for an initial 6‑month period. The position is based in Penrith, requiring one day per week on site, with a possible increase to two days per week during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance and new building works across Council and University properties.
• Design new rewiring schemes.
• Create lighting layouts.
• Size small‑power wiring.
• Collaborate with security and fire alarm designers.
• Use Dialux or Relux for lighting design.
• Perform Electrical OM sizing of cables.
