Job Summary/Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist to join our specialist service for people experiencing a first episode of psychosis.

We are recruiting two Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners / Care co‑ordinators for teams covering the area of Manchester.

The post holder will maintain and co‑ordinate timely and appropriate interventions and assessment for a caseload of service users living in the community within the framework of CPA and in line with the relevant clinical pathways as outlined within the EIT operational procedure. The Mental Health Practitioner / Care co‑ordinator will also contribute to completing initial assessments for all service users referred into the service within two weeks, in accordance with the NHS England Access and Waiting Time Standards.
