General Information/Job Summary
Serves as the lead representative for the company at a construction site, directing and coordinating the activities of the Electrical group. Provides management oversight for all phases of the construction project, including coordinating workers, material, and equipment and ensuring that specifications are being followed.
Responsibilities/Competencies
Responsibilities include overall accountability for job site safety and quality assurance/quality control procedures.
Requires the ability to look ahead to avoid conflicts in timing between crafts. Knowing the interactions of the tasks and how they affect each other is a skill required by the superintendent because of the conflicts that arise.
