Ehs/Facilities Engineer (Maquiladoras) (Tijuana)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, compliant infrastructure, including facilities maintenance, infrastructure, and contractor activities.
• Ensure compliance with NOM-001-STPS (buildings, emergency exits, lighting, ventilation).
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and corporate EHS standards.
• Protect workers, comply with STPS NOMs, and manage environmental impacts.
• Conduct regular safety audits, accident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
• Manage waste disposal, air emissions, water discharges, and hazardous materials.
• Develop and manage environmental, sustainability, and waste management programs.
• Perform risk assessments and coordinate incident response.
• Maintain safe equipment, TPM, calibration, and documented records.
