Job Title: Manager, Environmental Health and Safety
Location: Council Bluffs, IA
Reports to: Plant Manager
SUMMARY OF POSITION PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager, EHS shall take a lead role in coordinating the company’s environmental, health and safety programming. He/she shall develop and coordinate the organization's effort to achieve World-Class environmental and safety standards.
To accomplish this task, he/she will work closely with Leadership, Operations Management, the Safety Committee, and employees, developing EHS Programs designed to eliminate workplace risks, prevent negative environmental and community impacts, and retrofit technology-based safety into operational processes. He/she shall have basic knowledge and understanding of Behavior
Based Safety.
