This is a remote position. 3 Months Contract with a local Authority Summary The Education, Health and Care Coordinator (EHCC) is a pivotal role within a local authority, responsible for managing the statutory Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process for children and young people aged 025. This position ensures compliance with SEND legislation and statutory timelines, working collaboratively with families, educational institutions, health professionals, and social care partners. The role is crucial in delivering positive outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Responsibilities Manage a high-volume caseload of EHCP cases. Coordinate Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments within statutory timescales. Draft, amend, and maintain high-quality, legally compliant EHCPs.
